Plastic Ducting - All Sizes

Servicing both the civil and building sectors, ICS Europe supplies HDPE (High-density Polyethylene) flat and round corrugated duct. The bespoke HDPE duct is manufactured in a controlled environment using a temperature-controlled plastic injection machine with a moulding system.

 

Due to the duct providing long-term secondary corrosion protection, especially in aggressive environments, it has a wide range of applications in mono/multi strands, ground anchors and stay-cable designs and is used in a variety of projects from car parks and flyovers to nuclear containment facilities.   

 

A flat corrugated duct is predominantly in demand when the post-tensioned slab design dictates thickness constraints. The most common flat corrugated duct size has a width of 76mm, a height of 24mm, a thickness of 2.5mm and comes in 150m coils also conforming to the latest Fib Bulletin specification.  Additional sizes are available tailored to project-specific requirements.

 

The HDPE round corrugated duct comes in a variety of widths ranging from 35mm to 157mm.  The HDPE duct is lightweight and supplied in coils which require minimal use of coupler connections simplifying the product’s installation process by reducing handling and manpower. Joints/connections can be carried out in multiple ways including snap-fit couplers, heat shrink sleeves or split couplers.
